Rittenhouse Romantic Getaway

Nearly two years after Lynette's retirement from Home Care/Hospice, we had the opportunity to enjoy the retirement gift from her very special staff, a "Romantic Getaway" at the Rittenhouse property in Bayfield, WI. After a year of "roughing it" on the road, we thoroughly enjoyed being pampered with champagne, sweets, a gourmet dinner and breakfast, and a very special stay in one of their historic inns. We especially loved watching the Madeline Island Ferry and sailboats as we enjoyed champagne on the fabulous veranda. Thanks so very much, Home Care and Hospice Staff.


 

The Road to Bayfield, WI

The long ribbon of highway leads us to Lake Superior, then Steve looks innocent at Cornucopia, just before tricking me once again into a comic photo. When will I learn to check for signs before posing in front of his camera?


 

Cloquet River Cruise
