Chef George performing kitchen magic at our campsite in Bar Harbor (Maine) campground.

Sweeties Barb and George taking a break after enjoying the gourmet meal 'by George'.

Two views from campsites. The full moon provides some explanation for the character of the preceding pics. We were in Bar Harbor during the first week of October and were told by locals that the "peak" color was still two weeks away. We did, however, get to experience the movement caused by a 3.9 earthquake, the epicenter of which was just a couple of miles from us, under Acadia National Park. The quake was strong enough to cause rockslides which closed some popular hiking trails in the park. The impact to us as we sat in our motorhome was minimal, sounding like thunder and feeling much less dramatic than rolling down I-10 toward Texas.
